About New Prospect

Our structure

This section is designed to show you how New Prospect is made up.

Here is our management structure and below is some information on our Parent and Local Boards.

New Prospect Boards

New Prospect management team works together with the Parent Board and five Local Area Boards, who exist to support and ensure that New Prospect achieves its objectives and service levels in line with the Governments Service Improvement Plan.  Each of the Boards is made up of equal numbers of tenants, elected councilors and independent members.

Parent Board

The Parent Board is responsible for working with and agreeing the overall business strategy and targets.  This includes citywide services such as major repair programmes, accountancy etc.  Members of New Prospect’s Parent Board are registered as Company Directors.

Board members are subject to the election process.

Local Boards

The Local Area Boards are responsible for ensuring that local business objectives and service levels are met working within allocated budgets.  Members of New Prospect Local Boards do not need to be registered as Directors of the Company, although they still have to adhere to the same rules and regulations as Parent Board members. New Prospect has five local boards, one for each area made up of 3 local tenants, 5 local elected members and 3 Independent members.
